Frankston Library is again hosting it's wonderful live music on Sundays series with personalities hailing from around the Mornington Peninsula. Sunday 28th March sees the electric and emotive HEIDI EVERETT play a double set of her most amazing music. Heidi and her guitar will take you by the hand and gently walk through her worldscapes of life with a major mental illness. A new musical celebrating all things Frankston will premier as part of the 2010 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Frankston is dead. An extremist local Mayor has been voted in, banning musical theatre. What was once a happy-go-lucky outer-suburban ghetto by the sea, where musical-theatre gangs serenaded teenage mums in the mall, has been transformed into a world where the sun doesn’t shine and it’s no longer legal for straight men to act gay. But when two young musical men with a passion for football and jazz ballet stage a protest show, there are fireworks in the Centrelink queue.
